Experienced users must have noticed that the Yamaha PSR-E383 is the successor of the much-loved PSR-E373 (discontinued in April 2024). Yes, that’s correct, PSR-E383 brings new features and improvements to make your playing time more enjoyable.
The improvement starts in the sound department where E383 comes with some new instrument sounds with a total of 650 tones compared to the E373 622 tones. Also, in the accompaniment feature, the E383 comes with a total of 260 preset styles from every genre compared to the E373 only 205 styles. These two features alone can help your music exploration.
The iconic 61 organ-style keyboard of PSR-E373 is making a comeback in the E383 and also comes with 4 levels of touch responses (Soft, Medium, Hard, and Fixed). This type of keyboard is believed very easy for beginners to be accustomed to and the Hard level of touch response is useful for users who want to experience piano-like key resistance.
The 3-Step Lesson feature will make learning the keyboard so much fun for beginners. You can choose to practice with just your left hand or right hand, or even both together while jamming along with the built-in Songs. Once your skill has started to grow, then you can start practicing with the accompaniment using the super useful Auto Chord Play, which allows the user to use the chord progressions easily.
